Job Description
We are expanding our team! We are searching for someone who loves to work with infants through PreK.
This position will not be assigned to a specific class, so the applicant should be willing to float to cover vacations and quarantines and enjoy working with different ages.
Must possess a love of children, good communication skills, a team attitude, and positive disciplining techniques.
We are a Christian center, so applicants should feel comfortable leading the children in Bible devotionals/stories and encouraging Christian ideals.
Hours vary. Applicants should be willing to work afternoons and early evenings (the center closes at 5 pm).

Teacher Educational Requirements
-Must meet Illinois DCFS standards for ECE teacher qualifications
Responsibilities and Duties
-Prepare lesson plans as needed (substitute basis)
-Be willing to float to different classrooms
-Assist the primary teacher or lead the classroom if the lead teacher is absent
-Supervise/care for children ages six weeks to 5 years old -Use positive disciplining techniques
-Change diapers/assist children in toileting and hand washing -Feed children
-Sanitize toys and other areas
-Maintain a safe, structured learning environment
-Record children's daily habits (food, toileting, etc.) on daily sheets for parents
-Other duties as assigned
