POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Marketing & Communications is our strategic champion for the mission, vision and values of The Gathering. They will ensure all messaging of The Gathering is supported by strong brand representation, eective delivery, and a strong invitational heart. They lead by example to support a diverse team of talented sta and volunteers who serve as enthusiastic communicators of a vibrant and growing church. The Director of Marketing & Communications will take our team and our message to new levels of eectiveness and eciency through creative innovation and systematic processes. This role will serve as a key leader within our organization and will regularly collaborate with our executive team.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES

● Develops and implements a clear marketing and communications strategy that prioritizes reaching new people through eective invitation, and supports the vision, mission, values, and annual strategic goals of the church

● Increases overall church engagement through the execution of well-developed communication plans that creatively and eectively invite people to participate in the life of the church

● Provides clear creative direction and resulting in an overall improvement to The Gathering’s organizational creative process, specifically in the area of sermon series concepting, development, and execution

● Builds and develops a team of sta and volunteers to meet growing demands upon the marketing and communications department

● Ensure consistent representation of the Gathering across all platforms
● Minimizes discrepancies and errors in all written and printed communications
● Supports stakeholders
● Delivers monthly analytics and presents quarterly strategies for expanding our external reach
● Provides accountability and management of project deadlines
● Plans and executes all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
● Measures and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).
● Identifies trends and insights and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights.
● Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing channels.
● Plans, executes, and measures experiments and conversion tests

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
