All About You

Under general direction, supports student success, retention and progression to graduation; provides individualized student outreach to students who are identified at risk; connects students to relevant campus resources; provides academic coaching and support for students on an ongoing basis; monitors and tracks progress of students; maintains communication with faculty and staff in support of students. Provides individualized outreach to students based on identified risk factors including academic, financial and socio-emotional; assisting them in developing individual plans for success. This position runs through May 31, 2023 . At that time, it will then be reviewed for renewal.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with individual students to develop realistic goals that will contribute to academic and personal success in college; develops relationships that foster developmental conversations; motivates students to achieve educational goals
Provides individualized outreach to students based on identified risk factors including academic, financial and socio-emotional
Refers and connects students with relevant University resources; coordinates with University stakeholders regarding additional outreach and support
Monitors and records progress of individual students; maintaining consistent and confidential records of individual student data
Provides presentations to student groups and classes
Serves on University committees
Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Preference for individuals with experiences in student affairs, academic advising, counseling, teaching, and/or learning skills development.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Master’s degree required, supplemented with two (2) year of related experience preferred.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The preference for the successful candidate is that they will be full-time, and work on-site at Saint Louis University. However, part-time candidates (on-site only), and full-time, remote candidates located in the following states may also be considered: Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Minnesota, Alabama, California, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island and Texas.
