Hours: 40 hours per week. Days: Sunday to Thursday
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs limited grounds maintenance such as mowing and trimming lawns and hedges and cleaning snow from sidewalks.
- Installs and performs basic repairs of electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.
- Performs plumbing repairs and unclogging of pipes.
- Examines property for safety hazards.
- Performs cleaning, housekeeping, and light maintenance tasks and services throughout property.
- Set-up and take down chairs and tables for church events.
- Ensures that cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
- Helps maintain 5-year capital replacement plan.
- Helps establish and maintain vendor contracts and relationships.
- Picks up trash and empties trash containers.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and in a group.
- Ability to learn quickly and to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to adhere to safety requirements.
Education and Experience:
- Previous experience preferred; completion of on-the-job training required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to push or pull up to 70 pounds.
- Periods climbing and standing on ladders.
- Must be able to work in all types of weather and temperatures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
