Office and Communications Coordinator

Coordinate the work of the church office and assist the pastors with scheduling and maintaining the ongoing work of the church. Communicate with the congregation and wider community about St. Paul’s programs, activities, events, worship, and mission in ways that reach a broad range of people and encourage them to connect and engage.

Support and collaborate with clergy, staff, and members

  • Coordinate daily operations and general administration
  • Participate in special projects in support of boards and committees
  • Serve as first contact for members and guests during office hours
  • Coordinate staff and church calendars
  • Oversee security system
  • Engage with the St. Paul community, including staff, about upcoming activities and events to develop content, layout, and design for the website, social media, and written materials
  • Stay attuned to trends in digital communications and propose changes to St. Paul’s strategies as needed
  • Encourage and train the congregation to use online giving and Church Life App
  • Provide basic technical support for staff and volunteers
  • Ensure appropriate security protocols are in place and observed for media passwords, computer logins, and email addresses
  • Create and maintain procedure manuals
  • Maintain phone system greetings/mailboxes
  • Maintain records/history
  • Administer St Paul database on ASC software
  • ACS people suite: add new members, run searches, create reports, create labels, maintain information about boards/committees, groups, Sunday School classes and promotions
  • Events: setup, registration, tracking, updates, reports

Coordinate and design St. Paul’s digital presence, communications, and messaging.

  • Produce Sunday bulletins and monthly newsletters
  • Assist in production of posters, signage, banners, and other public displays
  • Oversee live streaming and recording of church events (managing and training volunteers) for all audio/video events, including worship services and other activities
  • Create content and slides using ProPresenter to be displayed on sanctuary monitors
  • Manage St Paul’s website and social media platforms

Position Parameters

  • Full-time (36-40 hours per week) position; full benefits
  • Salary range $48,000.00 to $55,000.00
  • Report to the Senior Minister
  • Work will primarily be on-site


  • Experience in customer service, communications, marketing, database management
  • Experience managing social media and virtual platforms, including Facebook, Instagram,

YouTube, Zoom, Office Teams, as part of our communications strategy

  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, Calendar, and Teams
  • Experience in designing emails, newsletters, website pages, etc.
  • Experience preferred with Constant Contact and ProPresenter, or similar

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
