Duties and Responsibilities
- Director of Parish School of Religion (PSR)
- Coordinate Sacramental Preparation with School and PSR Teachers.
- Coordinate Prayer Partner Program with Students and Parishioners
- Coordinate Children’s Faith Formation:
- Vacation Bible School
- Children’s Liturgy of the Word
- Adult Faith Formation:
- RCIA Coordinator
- Bible Study Groups
- Older Adult Ministry
- Lunch Brunch Coordinator
- Taste and See Coordinator
- Other ministry-type duties as assigned
Position Specifications/Requirements
Graduate of the LPMP (Lay Pastoral Ministry Program) or a comparable pastoral program
- college degree or equivalent
- must be an active and practicing Catholic
- must be current in Church theology
Relationships Requirements
- good leadership and collaborative skills
- facilitating, consulting, and collaborative management skills
- counseling / active listening skills
- good oral and written communication skills
- ability to develop and administer programs to meet assessed needs
- ability to develop and administer a budget
This position requires many evenings and weekends and should be set up in a flex-time arrangement for a 40-hour work week.
