This full-time position as Catechetical Coordinator for Youth provides leadership and administration of children’s and family catechetical ministries. This person will work with and under the supervision of the Director of Catechesis.
Key Responsibilities include Administration of the Parish School of Religion; sacramental prep for First Communion, Penance, and Confirmation; facilitation of RCIC, and RCIA team member; Theology of the Body team; assistance with parish faith family events and other parish programs and liturgies as needed.
Key Skills and Knowledge: desired candidate will be a practicing Catholic with an active prayer life and love for Christ; skilled collaborator; have strong leadership skills; good communication skills; is organized and has the ability to work evenings and weekends. A bachelor’s degree in pastoral ministry, theology or related field is required. Experience in religious education, teaching, or catechism is ideal, but not required.
