This is a part-time job consisting of 3.5 hours on Sunday mornings. Additional hours may be available on Thursday evenings and for other special events. Children's Ministry Aides are trained and supported by the Coordinator of Children's Ministry.
Responsibilities include:
-Assisting in Montessori Sunday School classrooms and nursery.
-Assisting in youth classes and activities.
-Assisting in Zoom classes and videos if meeting in person is not possible due to COVID-19 restrictions.
-Greeting families and children.
-Checking families into Kidcheck program.
- Managing classroom materials and supplies.
-Assisting with the children's sermon.
Applicants should have at least 3 years experience working with children.
Experience with Montessori education, anti-bias education, and/ or knowledge of childhood development, spiritual development, and children's ministry is preferred.
