CMF Church is seeking a Children/Youth Director. We are a small, growing church that is looking for someone to coordinate and lead our children/youth groups as we strive to make an impact in Cincinnati. It involves coordinating volunteers and activities for children (nursery – elementary) and youth (jr. high & sr. high) on Sunday mornings plus occasional youth and family events. Most activities fall on the weekends.

Key Qualities, Responsibilities, and Preferences:
- A passionate, caring, and compassionate attitude when interacting with and caring for children
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills to converse with children, caregivers, and parents and/or guardians
- Advanced multitasking and organizational skills to handle multiple children at a time
- Problem-solving skills to be able to manage conflicts that inevitably occur in a peaceful manner
- Complete initial reimbursable background checks and references as required by CMF’s Safe Sanctuary Committee and comply with standards of the church Safe Sanctuary Policy
- Communicate needs/concerns with CMF’s Youth Formation Committee
- Will provide appropriate supervision and Bible based activities for children/youth
- Will schedule church volunteers to assist during Children’s Church
- Will schedule church volunteers to supervise the nursery
- Will coordinate and lead activities for Jr. High and High School youth
- Coordinate and plan Family activities along with the Pastor and Youth Formation Committee.
Key Responsibilities of CMF’s Youth Formation Committee, Pastor, and Council Liaison:
- CMF will support the Director by providing curriculum and supplies geared towards these age groups as provided through Mennonite Media and other similar sources.
Start date: 2023, TBD based on schedule
Salary range: $150 per week
Educational and Experience Preferences:
- An interest in, but not limited to, pursuing work in Ministry, Youth Ministry, Education, Social
Work, or a similar field
- Previous experience working with children and youth
- CPR/First Aid certification
