Job Summary

 

This role is part data management, part project management, and part execution. This person will help to develop and execute the giving strategy, plans, and projects as set forth by the Stewardship Manager. Role reports to the Stewardship Manager.

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Work alongside the Stewardship Manager to build an infrastructure to ensure Crossroads teams and sites are implementing the giving strategy to work towards the same goal.
  • Help administer the Stewardship Manager’s relationship with outside organizations or ministry partners, such as GoodSense and Financial Planning Ministry.
  • Organize and manage volunteer, giver, and group lists in Crossroads’ CRM, including by not limited to Trailblazers, Blue Team, and Financial Planning Ministry.
  • Assist the Stewardship Manager with leading giving strategy projects and trips such as thanking engaged givers, updating the giving website, the Blue Team, and Encounter Israel.
  • Assist the Stewardship Manager in the creation and implementation of giver retention and development strategies. This may involve working collaboratively with various Community Pastors and consulting directly with sites to develop their personalized giver strategy.
  • Will assist in the project management of generosity events such as, but not limited to, the Family Meeting, Blue Team and Trailblazer events, and Financial Series.
  • Oversee training staff in the giving dashboards and CRM data around giving.
  • Oversee Giver Dashboards in PowerBI and be able to effectively disseminate data to sites, Stewardship Manager, the Generosity Team, and other staff members.
  • Assist in obtaining adequate data lists and sending correspondence to various givers, the Blue Team and Trailblazers.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the manager and Crossroads leadership.

 

Job Qualifications

 

Education Requirements:

 

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent job experience

 

Experience / Skill Requirements

 

  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Competent understanding of G-suite
  • Ability to learn, implement and analyze new systems quickly, such as a CRM (Rock) and PowerBI
  • Professional and empathetic communication skills

  • Must be actively involved in the Crossroads community
  • Must agree with and be willing to advocate for Crossroads' theological convictions around money and generosity

  • Represent the Generosity Team, CP Team, and Crossroads in the best light
  • Hospitality inside and outside the office when meeting visitors/givers
  • Passionate about seeing people fulfill what God created them to do

 

Physical Requirements

 

  • Requires generally strong physical health
  • Ability to walk up to 2 miles and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Have reliable transportation to work and to visit sites

 

Scheduling / Travel Requirements

 

  • Part-time role that generally works from the offices at Oakley but also willing to travel to connect with Community Pastors and staff at their sites for training and to better understand their needs
  • Must be willing and able to travel occasionally to do benchmarking and learn from other churches and attend conferences/training
  • Must be willing to work weekends to support one-time giving events and all staff required weekends such as Super Bowl, Easter, or Christmas services.
