JOB SUMMARY
Leading, developing and equipping volunteer team leaders and volunteers within designated age groups, as well as recruiting, retention and onboarding of volunteers.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Owns environments and weekend experience of designated teams
- Directs and develops volunteer leaders
- Manages recruitment, retention, growth and training of volunteers
- Communication to ministry volunteer teams
- Connects with Mason Staff team
- Staffs weekend volunteer teams
- Owns the onboarding process for new volunteers
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
Critical Qualities:
- Willing to work weekends.
- Willing to work evenings on occasions as requested by KC Site Director or Site CP.
- Must commit to expectations detailed in the “I Promise” document, including using the Bible as the ultimate standard of truth, practicing spiritual disciplines and pursuing personal purity.
- Pursuing spiritual growth as outlined in the 7 proven practices of engagement.
Physical Requirements:
- Performs effectively under pressure, and against strict time constraints.
- Must be able to walk up to 5 miles, standing, climbing, lifting, pulling, and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, and stooping as duties required.
- Must be able to lift up 25 to 50 lbs.
