The Multimedia Manager will develop long-range plans, implement ministry strategies, and lead volunteer technology teams that continually see creative and fresh ways to share God’s Word. The Manager’s actions will support the multimedia aspects of the Church of Saviour's overall ministry and mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ transform the church, the community, and the world.

Whole or Part Time: Part-Time (30 hours per week)

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate Media and Sound Ministry:

  • Provide leadership for audio, lighting, and video needs of all worship services, ministry meetings, and other special services.
  • Recruit, train, and schedule qualified volunteers as operators to assist with AV needs. Recruiting shall be a continuous function of the Manager.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive archive of worship
  • Consult with and respond to internal and external groups requesting media and sound support, including worship, weddings, funerals, and other meetings.
  • Research, recommend for purchase and maintain media, sound, and audio-visual equipment and software.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Other Leadership:

  • Attend staff meetings.
  • Work collaboratively with all Church of the Saviour areas to promote consistent Christian-based ministries and to plan and facilitate media resources for regular and special events. (i.e., facilities, equipment, database, calendar).
  • Develop and present creative ideas for worship through mediums, including but not limited to visual arts, drama, and movie clips.
  • Manage the media budgets with the Director of Worship Arts to prepare and administer the annual budget.

Job Qualifications and Experience

  • Possess strong organizational and team-building skills.
  • Possess excellent communication and relational skills.
  • Available to work most Sundays.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn and utilize the church database.
  • Proficiency in operating audio-visual equipment and software required for job responsibilities listed above.
  • Proficiency in media creation, including detailed grammatical and visual editing and presentation software, is required.
  • Preferred software packages currently utilized: Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Avid Systems, Pro Presenter, Planning Center

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and within strict time constraints.
  • Able to set up and take down multimedia equipment as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
