The primary purpose of this role is to perform administrative duties to support the HR Assistant Director, the Lead Pastor, and Executive Pastor.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Perform general administrative responsibilities including ordering supplies, scheduling resources for meetings, calendar management, processing deposits, reconciling credit card statements, and updating spreadsheets.
Co-ordinate all aspects of bi-monthly staff meetings including caterer, materials, resources, and set-up.
Gather information, create, and publish the bi-monthly staff newsletter.
Provide administrative support to the Lead Pastor, Executive Pastor, and HR Assistant Director Assist with HR related projects, events, and meetings.
Other Demonstrate Christ-like attitude and behavior in interactions with staff and ministry teams.
Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of handling sensitive congregant, staff, and church information.
Performance Expectations:
Be reliable, with a positive, proactive approach.
Complete all job duties in a timely, accurate, efficient, and professional manner.
Qualifications:
Knowledge and Experience Five years of administrative assistant or comparable experience required.
Education minimum of an associate degree preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft applications (Office 365, Outlook, One Drive, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
) Attendee with knowledge of Montgomery Community Church is preferred.
Skills Highly developed organization skills, follow-through, and detail oriented Proactive self-starter with strong capacity.
Able to effectively identify and align priorities.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
Resourceful solution seeker.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and navigate through change.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to learn new software and platforms.
