JOB SUMMARY
Project Manager is responsible for the management and execution of tasks that enable the campus team to function. Although specific activities may vary, the Admin Project Manager can expect their work to largely revolve around supporting the Executive Director, Community Pastor and Site Directors in the planning and execution of weekly work and projects. This includes, directing the workflow of a project volunteer team, executing recurring administrative tasks and troubleshooting issues at the site. This position reports directly to the Oakley Executive Director.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support to Community Pastor, Executive Director and Site Directors by assisting in scheduling, buffering, and prioritizing/organizing daily.
  • Manage various reports, communications, schedules and events to support the Community Pastor and Executive Director.
  • Recruit, direct and develop a project team of approximately 10-20 volunteers to assist in or carry out various role responsibilities.
  • Direct workflow for Project Teams.
  • Lead meeting and event preparation for site. (RSVPs, food, agenda, print materials, etc.) Maintains and communicates project timelines to site staff.
  • Support site directors in better relating to their teams by removing obstacles, troubleshooting, and providing logistical/administrative support. Ex. food ordering. Tracking attendance, expense submissions, event coordination and meeting planning.
  • Supports ministry teams with unique project needs, plan/facilitate various events alongside ministry teams, and own special projects for the site team: ex.- special site worship services, reports.
  • Connect with central services when needed to streamline processes in the multisite world which directly affect the site.
  • Be the central clearinghouse for all site bills, directing them to the right ministry leader.
  • Giving reports, communication and events to support the Community Pastor.
  • Perform the necessary responsibilities as the Oakley Site Social Media Representative.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.

Experience / Skills Requirements:

  • Cast vision to volunteers so they understand how performing the task fits into the bigger Crossroads vision.
  • Develop authentic ongoing relationships with leaders and volunteers of ministry teams and their administrative teams.
  • Work collaboratively with all ministries and site team.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Able to effectively problem solve, plan and think innovatively
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Organized, disciplined with priorities, meticulous attention to detail, able to lead projects. Experience with Mac/PC, Internet Explorer, and Google Docs.

Physical Requirements:

  • Performs effectively under pressure, and against strict time constraints.
  • Must be able to walk up to 5 miles, standing, climbing, lifting, pulling, and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, and stooping as duties required.
  • Must be able to lift 25 to 50 lbs

Scheduling / Travel Requirements:
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends and other high impact events at Crossroads.
