This person will be responsible for the design and implementation of all Crossroads GO Trips. The work will include oversight of all trips, the development of new trip locations, creation and execution of regional strategies, and global development efforts to increase the impact of Crossroads in the communities we engage with internationally.

Additionally, this individual will serve on the ReachOut leadership team and oversee a team that is focused on creating trips as well as establishing worldwide impact initiatives, focuses, and experiences.

Roles And Responsibilities
Director of the trips team responsible for trips product strategic vision.
Create a comprehensive Trips strategy that dramatically expands community engagement

Identify and develop Trip offerings that:
appeal to key audiences such as Student Ministry, families, etc.
offer a wide range of options of trip length, distance, and cost.
Oversee all ReachOut Trips (National and International).
Responsible for excellence in overall trips execution.
Collaborate with the team to design, implement, and improve trip experiences
Articulate desired trip experience including trip communication, onboarding, on-the-ground experience, off-boarding, and next steps.

Support RO Lead team by:
Supporting short and long term trips plan for Crossroads.
Increasing community member engagement in trips.
Oversee trips marketing and storytelling.
Crossroads Trip Partnerships Strategy and Relationships.
Centrally own trips relationships. Work with direct reports (Trips Operations Lead) in management of these relationships.
Collaborate with Data and Finance Manager regarding MOU management.
Work with Partner Development lead to Oversee engagement of trip participants.

Work with direct reports to:
Coach Trip Leads on execution of trips strategy and experiences.
Create reunions, pre-trip meetings, and post-trip off-ramps.
Develop a communication strategy that is clear and compelling to our community.
Responsible for meeting Trip participant quotas.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills, Experience, and Education*

Bachelor’s Degree in International Affairs/Relations, International Business, Public Health, Public Administration or Related Field.
5+ years of work experience in an administrative office setting.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Extensive international travel experience.

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education*

Graduate Degree in International Affairs/Relations, International Business, Public Health, Public Administration or Related Field.
Proficient in a second language such as Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin, French, or Hindi.
Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
Experience working in the non-profit sector in an administrative, management, or fundraising capacity.
Strong, clear, and effective public speaking skills.
Ability to multi-task and work within time constraints.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to uncertain or uncomfortable circumstances.

Position Status, Work Environment, Travel, Physical Requirements*

Full-time
Salary (Exempt)
Works primarily in office with remote capability from time to time.
This position requires sitting at desk and computer most of the day.
Some domestic and international travel required. Travel may require long-haul or overnight flights.
This person needs to have a great mix of pastoral skills plus the ability to work well within all ministries.
Must be a self starter with a teachable spirit
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
