Job Description
This role is responsible for editing a wide range of formats including multi-camera interviews, narrative and performance music videos, and long format documentary pieces. The ideal candidate will be able to create engaging videos based on treatments provided by our creative directors. Where needed, the editor will use stock music, footage, sound effects, etc, to supplement the provided footage. This will require a mix of the editors own creative expression while working within the bounds of the Crossroads brand and the Creative Director's vision. Candidates must be able to work well as part of a large team and be able to collaborate with creative directors. The video team is currently a hybrid of home/office work.

Skills

  • 1-2 years or more of video editing experience. (please submit a reel or samples of work)
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Experience creating 2D/3D motion graphics in After Effects or similar is a strong plus.
  • Experience Color Grading Davinci Resolve is a plus.
  • Experience with dropbox and frame.io workflows is a plus.
  • Must have strong relational skills and experience with working in a team environment.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter, able to problem solve with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and edit a variety of video projects in collaboration with producers and creative directors.
  • Create engaging videos based on treatments provided by our creative directors.
  • Must commit to expectations detailed in the “I Promise” document, including using the Bible as the ultimate standard of truth, practicing spiritual disciplines and pursuing personal purity.

Schedule/Travel Requirements

  • The location for this role is Hybrid: In-office at Oakley campus and work remote from home
  • Occasional travel could be required
  • Must be available for special projects and occasional all-hands-on-deck events at Crossroads
