JOB DESCRIPTION
Crossroads is a thriving, multi-site church with over 35,000 people who attend any given weekend. We want our church to reflect the Kingdom of God displayed through our staff. With that in mind, we are continuously looking for diverse candidates. Video producers coordinate and manage all phases of the video production process. They contribute and facilitate creative development, oversee the logistics of video shoots to bring an idea to life, and manage deadlines through the post production process. This role is a hybrid of creative storytelling and logistics/strategic planning. It requires someone who is an aggressive problem solver who also works well as part of a team.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a liaison between the project client and the Creative Director/Director.
On a given project this role works closely with the production team, Creative Director and Director to coordinate all aspects of production including: scheduling meetings, casting actors, scouting and securing locations, props, and wardrobe, craft services, generating call sheets, etc.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Required Experience / Skills:
Have experience in the video production process
Excellent communication skills. Need to be a proactive communicator who can be clear, concise, and discerning so that the production process is efficient and effective.
The ability to lead the execution of the logistics of a creative concept from pre-production through post-production.
The ability to act decisively under pressure.
Good planning and organizational skills - likes thinking about how to make things happen from inception to completion and act on those tasks.
Energized by problem-solving - from hard to find props, to shooting at locations we’ve never seen before, producers help bring a vision to life in the best way possible.
Great attention to detail.
Discernment and sensitivity when dealing with personal stories.
Able to carry 25 lbs and walk a minimum of 3 miles.
Education Requirements:
4 year degree or equivalent work experience/skill level
Additional Requirements:
Maintain a flexible work schedule (Including evenings and/or weekends as needed)
