Lovers Lane United Methodist Church has had a rich history of partnership with Feed My Starving Children. FMSC is a Christian Non-Profit committed to feeding God’s children in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and then ship these meals to distribution partners around the world. When LLUMC was serving in Leveque, Haiti a couple of years ago, we came across FMSC at work first hand. Lives are being changed each day because of the impact of these meals. COVID has provided some unique challenges to FMSC over the last two years. As the war in Ukraine is ongoing, FMSC has already sent 1.5 million meals to Ukraine, Poland, Romania, and Moldova, but millions more are needed.

Now is the time for LLUMC to step up to help in any way we can. Enclosed please find a Sponsor Contract for the 3rd Lovers Lane United Methodist Church Feed My Starving Children fundraising dinner on Sunday, May 1st at 6:00pm in Asbury Hall. The one and only Rusty George will provide entertainment during dinner. We are so excited to welcome Andy Carr and Polly Wright, from FMSC, who will share the Building Dreams Together program. We will have an opportunity to respond and our prayer is that we can contribute $50,000 to provide much needed meals. We pray that you will join is at this Building Dreams Together dinner, making it possible for more children in need to be fed all around the world.
