This position is responsible for executing and supporting the five main functions of Worship Operations for the campus they serve: Worship team scheduling, event management (pre-planning for Worship events), Worship team payroll, Workflows (taking team members through administrative processes), and customer service (providing excellent service to meet the needs of our Worship team members). This position also supports the administrative needs of the Campus Worship Pastor. The person serving in this position must be highly administrative, detail-oriented, and passionate about serving others.

 

 

 

Principle Responsibilities

  • Scheduling Worship teams for most or all services at the campus
  • Post song lists as needed
  • Input Weekend and Student services songlists into a Song Recap tool
  • Utilize the Church calendar to fulfill Worship needs for Special Services and Major Ministry Events
  • Manage and order supplies for the Worship Green Room
  • Coordinate orders for campus instrument supplies and gear (strings, drum heads, in-ear monitors, etc.)
  • Manage payment for instrument/gear repairs
  • Coordinate with Food Services to ensure meals and snacks are made available for Weekend Services
  • Book rooms/venues and manage event details for events such as Worship team evaluations, rehearsals, choir rehearsals, and team gatherings
  • Manage Worship team profiles, maintaining accuracy of team assignments/rosters and processes (Workflows)
  • Communicate responsibly the personal needs of Worship team members and respond accordingly (ministry needs, prayer, care, etc.)
  • Assist with expense/budget tracking and reimbursements as needed
  • Assist with calendar and administrative needs for the Campus Worship Staff
  • Coordinate, communicate, and collaborate with Central Worship Staff as needed
  • Collaborate with Campus Music Director to maintain records of department assets/instruments/gear (storage, location, condition, pricing, etc.)
  • Assist in recruiting and managing volunteerism for the department
  • Serve on-call as needed for Worship team cancelations (typically 1x per month or less on a Saturday morning)
  • Assist with hiring process for Worship Event Workers
  • Manage timecard edits for Worship Event Workers as needed
  • Manage payroll closing process bi-monthly
  • Provide excellent customer service for Worship team members by responding in a timely manner to requests (schedule changes, key fob needs, etc.)

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to:
  • Sit/stand long periods of time
  • Occasionally kneel, or crouch
