The PTV Assistant Financial Coordinator will assist the Finance Manager in the work functions of the Finance and Accounting office as related to the Pathway to Victory (PTV) broadcast ministry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with opening and preparing incoming mail donations for PTV processing
Process opened incoming mail donations by entering donations into Aegis database
Process daily PTV no money mail
Review online batching for quality control
As needed, assist PTV Financial Coordinator with the following:
Prepare cash deposit and remote deposit checks daily
Send out daily PTV mail count stats
File processed PTV mail
Prepare outgoing PTV mail response letters
Function in an interactive and cross-functional relationship with the PTV Financial Coordinator and PTV Staff Accountant.
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Finance Manager

Prior experience working in database
Experience in accounting or bookkeeping is a plus
Basic proficiency in MS Excel
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to analyze data to recognize errors and determine cause
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively and efficiently
High School diploma or equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must have the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time
Requires viewing a computer screen for extended periods of time.
