REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

The Athletic Operations Coordinator reports directly to the Executive Director of Athletics

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school
  • Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church
  • Supports and adheres to the Code of Conduct and policies and procedures of the school and the Diocese
  • Abides by the confidentiality policy set forth in the Diocesan Employee Handbook.
  • Create Revenue through full organization, coordination, communication, and execution of Summer Camps.
  • Create Revenue through full organization, coordination, communication, and execution of Athletic Facility Rentals throughout the year.
  • Work alongside Marketing and Communications to promote the availability of our Athletic Facilities.
  • Work alongside Aquatics Center Coordinator to plan, implement, supervise, and coordinate the aquatic program for Nolan Catholic; including but not limited to program budget planning and administration, instructional programming, programming for Nolan community, and lifeguard training.

 

ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT

  • Manage Athletic Facility Rentals and communication of specific details with Athletic and Facility Departments.
  • Assist in the setup and tear down of all on campus Athletic Contests.
  • Assist in Transportation and Lodging for all out of town games.
  • Organize and Manage booking of game officials and payment.
  • Coordinate campus Summer Strength and Conditioning, High School Camps, and Youth Camps.
  • Promote, Market, and Recruit Partner Schools to feeder events on campus.
  • Work with the Sports Information Director on Fall, Winter, and Spring Media Day facility needs.

  • Non-Traditional Work day. Many hours required in evenings and weekends to properly complete essential duties and responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree in Operations, Business, Sports Management, or Sports Administration.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in athletics management
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills

Good understanding of UIL and TAPPS rules
