JOB SUMMARY:
In this part-time, 15 hour per week position, the Campus Production Lead will report to the Production Development Director and will work with Central Production staff to support audio/visual needs at a given campus for weekend services and special events. The Campus Production Lead will use provided equipment and resources to install, fix, and train others on use of the audio/visual equipment at the designated campus. A successful candidate is someone who has excellent communication skills, is detailed oriented, and capable of rolling with changing priorities and personalities.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be on-site each Sunday to ensure execution of weekend services
Manage and schedule volunteer team
Submit weekly debriefs after Sunday services
Attend all assigned on-site and virtual meetings relevant to production
Facilitate production needs for all events, beyond weekly services, at assigned campus
Setup, operate, and troubleshoot computers, sound, lighting and video systems
Install new equipment as requested by the Production Director
Be available to work flexible hours
Be able to work more hours during the Christmas and Easter seasons in order to accommodate extensive preparation and set designs
JOB PROFILE:
SPECIFIC SKILLS / STRENGTHS
Requires the ability to multi-task and work independently in carrying out assignments to completion
Must have excellent communication / customer service skills and be able to interface with the Chase Oaks Staff, guests and members
Must be self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
Requires the ability to deal with non-routine matters, such as special projects
Must have strong organizational skills
Requires some working experience in audio, video, and/or lighting equipment in live venue settings
Must be able to setup and operate ProPresenter and/or equivalent presentation software
Strong working knowledge of Windows and Apple devices
Some working experience with terminating/installing audio, video, and/or lighting cabling
Must be comfortable with and understand responsible use of power tools, ladders, and test equipment
Skills to diagnose and repair technical issues
TYPICAL BREAKDOWN OF WEEKLY HOURS
5 hours – lead team to execute weekend services
3 hours – preparing and programming for weekend services
3 hours – team development, production, and campus meetings
4 hours – campus specific projects & personal skill development
EXPERIENCE DESIRED
Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
EDUCATION DESIRED
Minimum high school diploma or equivalency
CTS or other AV Industry certifications desired but not required
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
There are no employee supervisory responsibilities
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to speak effectively and understandably on the phone. The ability to effectively present information and respond to common inquiries regarding Chase Oaks ministries is also required. High attention to customer service
COMPUTER SKILLS
Strong working knowledge of Apple computers and operating systems
Understanding of computer networking
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook calendaring, and email
Basic knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Data Entry skill & experience
Familiarity with databases
