Our childcare workers are key members to the ministry of our children in the Park Cities area. Childcare Workers will be guided to teach and worship with our children.
Role and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Report early to assist with surface cleaning and set-up.
- Be available to work on Sundays, Wednesdays or for special events at other times.
- Maintain the safety procedures as listed in our Safe@Church Policies.
- Adhere to all Preschool Policies during your time of employment.
- Able to work with any child from newborn to Kindergarten.
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds without a problem.
- Teach curriculum as assigned by a supervisor.
- Clean and put away toys and activities at the end of an assigned session.
Educational, experience and other requirements:
- Experience working with children preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
- Judgement and independence to complete all tasks with minimal input from others while maintaining a safe environment for our children
- Ability to interact with other church staff
- Ability to interact with parents in a Christ-like manner
Time Commitment:
- 5-10 hours per week; additional hours as needed during special events and seasons
- Sunday morning worship services, Wednesday evening services and events, and other ministry events during the week where childcare is needed
