The Church Database Administrator oversees and manages the church management system database, TouchPoint. This role will be the principal project manager for database deliverables and implementing related training resources.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage processes governing Church Management Software (ChMS) procedure and data integrity
Actively research and review ChMS updates and documentation from the vendor to be the organization’s subject matter expert
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and expected deliverables
Participate in data-related strategy sessions to help operationalize the mission and vision of the organization
Responsible for producing data solutions including reporting, data migration rules, workflow management, or other detailed deliverables
Ensures projects are completed on time and meet the requirements of the stakeholders
Reviews completed projects with stakeholders to evaluate challenges and lessons learned
Provide advanced support of data systems as needed for escalated issues
Determine if a support request should be a project, based on time and resource needs, and manage the project backlog accordingly
Seek continuing education and ChMS community networking opportunities to promote personal growth and advance the overall capabilities of the organization
Develop and oversee systems training for organization personnel
Provide insight into industry practices to the IS team and organization as applicable
Expected to uphold the confidentiality of all data, written, digital, or otherwise, in addition to any network and application security policies enacted by the Minister of Operations and/or the organization

Professional & Education (Certifications or Licenses)

Fully committed to the Senior Pastor, Executive Pastor, and overall church ministry
Embody the Green Team Characteristics and work according to Operating Principles
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
Additional Business Analyst or Project Management training and/or certification is a plus.
SSRS Report development experience.
Intermediate knowledge of MS SQL Server operations and maintenance.
Intermediate experience with T-SQL scripting up to implementing basic stored procedures
Intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS
Experience with data-driven application management, specifically church management systems, financial systems, and/or complex content management systems.
A working knowledge of Python, C#, and ASP.NET is a plus.
MS Dynamics administration and support are a plus.
Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and written communication skills.
High degree of initiative and accountability required
Must exhibit excellent time management and organizational skills.
Professional demeanor that inspires confidence.
Must be an advanced MS Office user.
