We are seeking a Christ-centered professional who want to join a team of disciplined and talented superstars committed to working together to accomplish our mission. The Day One Secondary Worship Leader is responsible for being a consistent lead vocalist for the Day One worship experience and for cultivating meaningful relationships with Day One guests and attendees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Serve as a secondary worship leader during the Day One Worship Service on Sunday mornings as well as other Day One ministry events
Vocalist as primary instrument with ability to lead from acoustic guitar or keys is preferred
Minister to the Day One attendees by being available to connect with them before and after worship for counsel and relational ministry
Participate in all Day One community events as directed by the Day One Worship Coordinator
Assist the Day One Worship Coordinator in the development and planning of special events
Assist the Day One Worship Coordinator in assuring that the Day One Band is in harmony and supportive of the philosophy and mission of the church
All other duties as assigned by the Minister to Day One and the Day One Worship Coordinator

Spiritual

Must be fully committed to the Mission and Core Values of First Baptist Dallas
Fully committed to the Senior Pastor, Executive Pastor, and overall church ministry
Must be committed to biblical Christian principles and teachings professionally and personally
Must possess characteristics that reflect a person of faith and a lifestyle of biblical integrity
Must be an active member of First Baptist Dallas

Professional & Education (Certifications or Licenses)

Embody the Green Team Characteristics and work according to Operating Principles
Minimum of 2 years’ experience leading worship in a contemporary service
Must be able to listen effectively and communicate clearly, both orally, and in written form
Must possess exceptional speaking skills and the ability to speak confidently before groups
Able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively with various musicians

Physical

Requires the ability to stand, sometimes for prolonged periods of time
Requires occasional bending and stooping
Requires the frequent lifting of musical instruments
