Position Summary The Day School Quality and Compliance Manager provides guidance, training, and compliance monitoring. The Quality and Compliance Manager works to oversee systems for continuous quality improvement, Texas Rising Star, and Texas State Licensing requirements. In addition, this position works as part of the Day School Administrative team to train staff and support regular quarterly projects, including Self-Assessment and Quality Improvement Plans. Essential Functions Monitoring the facility to identify deficiencies, develop monitoring reports and corrective action plans weekly, giving feedback (communicating), and motivating teachers and staff Ensures compliance with state/local licensing Complete Health and Safety checks Effectively communicates data-driven programmatic incites. Reports Maintenance issues or concerns Work with the church Accounting Office and Day School Treasurer to ensure that tuition is accurate and paid on time. Assist with the onboarding of new team members to ensure awareness of job duties, regulations, and procedures Maintain staff and student records in compliance with licensing and Texas Rising Star regulations. Assist teachers in planning classroom environments. Develops good relations with the Teachers, children, and their families Perform daily building, and grounds check Teach in classrooms when needed Other Functions Provide teachers with training, guidance, and coaching. Attend leadership training seminars, workshops, and conferences. Support administration to ensure teachers follow policies and procedures of the program as well as the church. Be visible and available to both parents and teachers during critical times. Maintain awareness of trends and best practices and is proactive in continually acquiring knowledge in fields related to children and families and early childhood development and education. Demonstrates genuine caring and empathy through personal demeanor and approach Qualifications The Day School Quality and Compliance Manager will have ten years of experience in a licensed child care facility, five years of experience monitoring Texas State Childcare licensing requirements, and a minimum of five years’ experience training, mentoring or coaching early childhood professionals. The position requires an advanced Microsoft Office skillset and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Management, or a related field. In addition, strong oral and written communication skills and an appreciation for accuracy and details are necessary. A Child-Care Administrator License issued by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and knowledge of Texas Rising Star regulations is preferred.
