Experience working in an early childhood program required

CPR and First Aid Certifications (can be completed while employed)
•
Demonstrated skill in working with children, planning developmentally appropriate lessons, guiding children, interacting positively with children, parents and co-workers
•
Commitment to continuing professional education

Responsibilities
•
Reports To: Assistant Director, Day School
•
Anticipated Schedule: Monday- Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
•
Works to establish a safe and healthy learning environment for children
•
Ensures children are supervised at all times
•
Responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for children
•
Communicates with others in a positive, professional manner
•
Uses technology to document children’s attendance, daily activities, and communicate with parents
