The Ministry: OurCalling is a discipleship ministry specifically focused on the homeless community and we operate an outreach center for the homeless community near downtown Dallas. We are passionate about loving and helping the unsheltered homeless transition to better lives.We are a faith-based, discipleship ministry where every job is a ministry position. Each staff member should be able to clearly share the Gospel and communicate their own testimony. While everyone on the team wears multiple hats, our primary function is evangelism and discipleship. We want everything that we do to point to Jesus.

Essential Function: Provide organizational and administrative support to the Advancement department, with a focus on grants administration, CRM management, and process documentation. Responsible for the implementation and management of Advancement department’s CRM and communications software platform. Work both independently and in collaboration with the Advancement team and under the direction of the Director of Development. Support a culture of generosity within OurCalling and provide support for all organizational fund development and communications activities.

Duties:
Take primary responsibility for the implementation, maintenance, and processes related to OurCalling’s CRM and communications software (transitioning to Virtuous).
In partnership with the Director, develop processes for first-time donor communications, recurring donors, lapsed donors, and core donor stewardship; document all processes and maintain workflows in CRM.
Process all donor acknowledgements and run weekly and monthly reports, partnering closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy.
Process regular donor mailings for campaigns and lapsed donors, partnering closely with the Sr. Manager of Communications.
Assist CEO and Director of Development with portfolio management by assigning tasks and updating constituent records.
Develop and implement process and FAQ for in-kind donations, in collaboration with Advancement, Operations, and Administration teams.
In partnership with the Director of Development and grant writing consultant, administer grants for OurCalling by maintaining a grants calendar, submitting grant requests and reports using approved case for support, obtaining signatures and supporting documents, as well as mailing or submitting through grant portals.
Take responsibility for answering the development hotline and email inquiries; develop FAQ to streamline and ensure accuracy of responses.
Understand and communicate the mission, programs, distinctive characteristics, and impact of OurCalling.
Support all Advancement team members with other duties as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:
Ideal candidate will possess one to three years of related experience in administration, operations, or development
Highly proficient in using excel, databases, software programs, and office equipment.
One or more years experience with CRM software
One or more years experience developing and documenting processes
Excellent organizational, prioritization, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to develop appropriate systems, prioritize and walk all projects through to completion
Strong attention to detail
Able to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Displays core values of humility, respect for others, compassion and excellence
Upholding a close and growing relationship as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
