Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, or related field with 12 credit hours in child development and six in business management or
· A Child Development Associate credential or Certified Child-Care Professional credential with six college credit hours in business management
· At least five years of experience in a supervisory experience in Education; Early childhood education experience preferred.
· Meet the current qualifications established by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Service and fulfill the qualifications as they are modified from time to time
· Be free of conviction and deferred adjudication on the grounds of sexual abuse, child abuse, and other crimes of moral turpitude and be able to pass a required background check
· Possess patience and demonstrate a positive attitude, a spirit of grace, ability to love and care for others
· Possess ethical and moral character
· Be a team player with practical communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality

Duties and Responsibilities:
Educational Operations and administration
· Review, analyze, develop and implement an educational curriculum.
· Oversee and assist teaching staff in developing, planning, administering, and evaluating preschool lesson plans and activities.
· Supervise, train, evaluate, and hire staff
· Support the mission, policies, and procedures of the preschool while following the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services regulations
Administrative
· Manage all facets of the day-to-day administration of the Preschool
· Act as a liaison between the church and school staff
· Attend church staff meetings
· Be available to parents and staff during designated hours
· Maintain Parent Handbook and other operational documents
· Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations
· Oversee the preparation and maintenance of staff and student records
· Supervise classroom schedules, space, and equipment
· Coordinate the use of shared space and equipment with other church programs
· Maintain a clean, safe environment for children, teachers, and parents
· Communicate facility problems with the Facilities Manager
· Maintain equipment (copiers, lamination machine, etc.)
· Coordinate the school's Fire Inspection, Environmental Health Inspection, and Child Care Licensing inspection.
· Create and maintain the registration materials and forms necessary for enrollment.
Financial
· Create the annual budget, including allocating funds for salaries and operational expenses. Make budget adjustments as needed for changes in enrollment.
· Research and recommend tuition increase and coordinate approval
· Oversee the purchase of classroom supplies, furniture, and equipment.
· Order and manage supplies and equipment for indoor and outdoor use
Education
· Help teachers plan and maintain age-appropriate, developmentally appropriate curriculum
· Support the observation and assessment of students about progress, abilities, and special needs
· Provide in-service training for staff
· Provide orientation training and regularly scheduled staff meetings
· Manage Summer Fun program
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
