Responsibilities:
In collaboration with the Children’s Minister and Middle School Director, develop and implement strategies that create a thriving and intentional Elementary ministry.
Plan and prepare weekly worship service by creating, planning, and coordinating worship, teaching, and small groups.
In collaboration with the Family Life Team, develop and implement strategies to equip parents for a lifestyle of discipleship with their children through regular communication, support, and encouragement.
Be a champion for Northwest Bible Church’s vision, mission, and values.
Recruit and train adult volunteer leaders who are passionate and capable of fully investing in the lives of elementary students.
Meet regularly, both individually and collectively, with adult leaders and parents in elementary ministry for training and investing in their life.
Identify the needs and interests of elementary school students within the church and community.
Clearly articulate the future for Children’s ministry by staying current and prepared for an effective ministry.
Coordinate and oversee mid-week opportunities to disciple and challenge students through fellowship and small group discussion.
Organize and direct seasonal events such as: 3-5 grade socials, summer ministries, outreach events, etc.
Maintain all safety and security policies and procedures within the elementary environment.
Pursue professional development by attending conferences, reading relevant literature, and connecting with other elementary ministry leaders in the Dallas area.
Other duties as required.

Requirements:
As a religious organization, all employees must affirm and adhere to the Church’s Doctrinal Statement of Faith and Statement on Marriage and Human Sexuality based upon its sincerely held religious beliefs, to qualify for involvement with the ministry. This is necessary to accomplish the Church’s religious mission, goals, and purpose.
Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and as Lord.
Active membership and participation at Northwest Bible Church.
Gifted Bible teacher with ability to communicate biblical truth to students in a relevant, engaging manner.
Outgoing personality and strong people skills with an ability to relate to all ages.
Respect for parents and their role as the God-given authority in their student's lives.
Able to work cooperatively as a team-player with all members of the church staff.
