RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with ministry areas to coordinate food services and other special event needs of the church
- Work with outside caterers to secure best pricing and facilitate ministry events
- Be the Primary contact for external groups wanting to use our facility coordinate facility tours
- Bill all ministry areas for their events each month to reimburse kitchen and labor expenses through Mazevo
- Ensure food quality and quantities for meals including Wednesday services
- Partner with Creative Arts & Guest Services to secure & direct volunteers for ministry events when needed
- Planning and managing special events
- Develop and oversee budget for internal events with ministries
- Manage & maintain kitchen equipment, pantries & supplies
- Other duties assigned by supervisor
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in event planning
- Non-profit or church experience preferred but not required
