RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with ministry areas to coordinate food services and other special event needs of the church
  • Work with outside caterers to secure best pricing and facilitate ministry events
  • Be the Primary contact for external groups wanting to use our facility coordinate facility tours
  • Bill all ministry areas for their events each month to reimburse kitchen and labor expenses through Mazevo
  • Ensure food quality and quantities for meals including Wednesday services
  • Partner with Creative Arts & Guest Services to secure & direct volunteers for ministry events when needed
  • Planning and managing special events
  • Develop and oversee budget for internal events with ministries
  • Manage & maintain kitchen equipment, pantries & supplies
  • Other duties assigned by supervisor

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in event planning
  • Non-profit or church experience preferred but not required
