JOB SUMMARY:
As a church, our values of Here for Good and Don’t Go It Alone shape what we do in our community. The Wellness Director is responsible for creating a preventative health and nutrition/food program that serves our partners and those in need around us. This will be done through volunteers and in collaboration with other organizations and churches for the benefit of the community. The areas we will address are linked as avenues to use our power to advocate for those who do not have enough to flourish in our community. This is a part-time position (25 hours per week).

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop the strategy and oversee the execution of preventive health and education programs
Create a team of volunteers at LG Market to regularly serve the community
Work to develop relationships with non-profits, other organizations, and volunteers who can serve under the Wellness Program
Work with other branches of external ministries to provide access and resources to those in need.
Be a great teammate on the External Ministry team and help shape other areas of Central ministry in collaboration with others.
Create content for social media and promotional materials

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

There are no supervisory responsibilities with this role.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to speak effectively and understandably on the phone. The ability to effectively present information and respond to common inquiries regarding Chase Oaks ministries is also required. High attention to customer service.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook calendaring, and email
Basic knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Data Entry skill & experience
Familiarity with Databases
