Responsibilities:
- Identify and prioritize all maintenance needs on campus.
- Complete work orders and ensure that all work orders are completed in a cost-efficient, safe, and timely manner implementing best practices and industry standards.
- Communicate with the Facilities Manager daily regarding work orders, changes in daily priorities, and maintenance orders requiring financial consideration.
- Keep the shop, all tools and equipment, and all storage rooms well organized and maintained.
- Assist and support all church events as needed.
- Installation of graphics for Worship Ministry.
- Perform extensive maintenance and cleaning of all Gym Areas for Sports and Fitness Ministry.
- Complete maintenance needs at Northwest Community Center.
- Provide support to Event Specialists for special events as needed.
- Serve on-call as needed to assist with emergency or special situations.
- Assist the Facilities Manager in overseeing contractors that are on site.
- Attend team meetings and staff lunches.
- Support the Northwest Bible Church mission statement and values.
- Assist the facilities manager in all other facility needs as requested.
Requirements
As a religious organization, all employees must affirm and adhere to the Church's Doctrinal Statement of Faith and Statement on Marriage and Human Sexuality based upon its sincerely held religious beliefs, to qualify for involvement with the ministry. This is necessary to accomplish the Church's religious mission, goals, and purpose.
- Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and as Lord.
- Basic computer and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) skills.
- Must be fluent in English and possess effective communication skills.
- Must possess the ability to read and write in English.
- Must be capable of sustaining heavy lifting.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and climb.
- Must be willing to serve on-call in the event of emergencies.
