Job Description:
Tyler Street Kids is the Children and Families Ministry of Tyler Street Church. The Nursery Staff Member is a part time position, 5-10 hours a week. The Nursery Staff Member will help in the care of and ministry to children ages 6 weeks to 4 years old for Tyler Street Church’s services and functions. Work dates are typically Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. Staff also have to work periodically on Friday nights for Parent’s Night Out and Saturdays for church activities requiring childcare. This position is ideal for college students pursuing a career in early childhood education, Christian Children’s Ministry, and/or nonprofits, or skilled adults with a heart for childcare and Christian service.
Successful employees are patient, flexible, love learning, work well in a team, and resourceful. Only applicants 18 years old and up will be considered. Being bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus. Applicant must submit to a background check, Ministry Safe training, and personal interview in compliance with the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church policy.
