The Office Manager will be responsible for providing management and administrative support to the overall function and organization of the Pathways Counseling Center.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Pathways Counseling Center
  • Recruit, coordinate, and train support group leaders as needed
  • Develop and manage the logistics and promotions for support groups
  • Work collaboratively with other ministry team leaders to create support groups that are needed by church members
  • Provide leadership and management of the counseling center software conversion
  • Partner with the Director of Pathways Counseling Center and other Counselors to manage daily calendar appointments
  • Responsible for ensuring clients contact information and forms of payment are kept up to date within the counseling software
  • Partner with Communications Team to update and manage Pathways social media platforms
  • Process payments and submit to the Finance & Accounting office in a timely fashion
  • Shared oversight of practicum students and interns with the Director, delegating tasks as appropriate
  • Reserve meeting rooms as needed and order materials, such as workbooks, etc.
  • Monitor and maintain the functionality of office equipment
  • Work cross-functionally with other ministry areas to fulfill the administrative oversight of Pathways
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Pathways Counseling Center

  • Must possess characteristics that reflect a person of faith and a lifestyle of biblical integrity

Professional & Education (Certifications or Licenses)

  • Fully committed to the Senior Pastor, Executive Pastor, and overall church ministry
  • Embody the Green Team Characteristics and work according to Operating Principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power-point), Google Docs, as well as other software utilized in the Counseling Center
  • Must have 3 to 4 years of experience as an office manager or similar type role
  • Proven track record of being efficient and possess strong organization skills
  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience working for a non-profit is a plus
  • Must have experience with the function and management of general office equipment

Physical

  • Ability to work extensive hours on a computer screen
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, hold, grasp and key
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
