We seek Christ-centered professionals who want to join a team of disciplined and talented superstars committed to working together to accomplish our mission. The Online Ministry Content Manager will be responsible for creating, improving, and maintaining content for the online ministry of First Baptist Dallas including testimonial stories, devotional campaigns, blogs, videos, social media posts, and other deliverables.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Work with the communications team to develop persuasive, compelling communications and content specifically for our growing online community and ministry
Write copy for FBD mediums including emails, social media, blog posts, web updates, and other promotional collateral.
Project manage content campaigns from start to finish including social media campaigns, promotional events, devotionals, story-telling, podcast series, and more
Attend staff meetings every week
Maintain and grow social media platforms of FBD’s online ministry accounts
Partner with Director of Communications to meet communication needs of various ministries
Navigate internal websites and make weekly changes and updates
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Communications

Must be committed to biblical Christian principles and teachings professionally and personally
Must possess characteristics that reflect a person of faith and a lifestyle of biblical integrity
Fully committed to the Senior Pastor, Executive Pastor, and overall church ministry

Professional & Education (Certifications or Licenses)

Embody the Green Team Characteristics and work according to Operating Principles
Proficient in Microsoft Office software, Mac system, and other software utilized in the Communications Office
Experience of 1 to 3 years in marketing, content creating, project management, or social media
Must have High School Diploma; a Bachelor’s Level Degree in Communications or equivalent is preferred

Physical

Ability to work extensive hours on a computer screen
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
Ability to sit for long periods of time
Ability to occasionally bend/stoop
