  • Assist with day-to-day operation of the department including: facilities scheduling, calendaring, bulletin requests, copy, mail, etc.
  • Coordinate food and set up for all Outreach Committee meetings, Outreach Department meetings, and events.
  • Maintain a list of up to date prayer requests from missionaries.
  • Attend and participate in weekly Outreach department meetings.
  • Assist in planning events by coordinating with vendors, facilitating volunteer assignments, registration, catering, childcare and entering all room requests in Service U for the Outreach ministry as needed.
  • Assist the department with special activities and events including coordination and communication. Events include: Fall Fun Fest, holiday projects, World Passion Week, various donation drives and others as needed.
  • Assist in the design and distribution of communication materials for Outreach as well as the Northwest Community Center.
  • Manage and perform regular updates to the website and social media accounts as needed.
  • Function as the initial contact and source of information for members, attendees & visitors regarding programs and ministries, including mission trips, the Northwest Community Center, and various Northwest supported organizations.
  • Function as the initial contact for donated items to various ministries including the Northwest Community Center.
  • Design and adapt current event communications for Northwest to fit the needs of the NCC.
  • Serve as a liaison between external mission organizations and the Church.
  • Process Northwest supported missionary documentation including, Investment Agreements, annual surveys, and additional requests.
  • Coordinate and deploy short-term mission trips which includes: receiving applications, reserving airplane tickets, visas, individual insurance, receiving support money, overseas arrangements, assisting with training and materials, etc.

  • Apply and utilize the master church database for the completion for all assignments including communications, lists, groupings, reports, activities, volunteer management, and all other functions involving the use of an individual’s records and information.
  • Process necessary background checks on all volunteers including those who serve at the Northwest Community Center.
  • Develop and manage a database to track attendance and impact of the Northwest Community Center.
  • Cover the front desk as needed, coordinating schedule with the Office Manager, and performing all duties associated with that role.
  • Other job duties as required.

This is necessary to accomplish the Church’s religious mission, goals, and purpose.

  • Actively attend and participate in Northwest Bible Church ministry.
  • Ability to problem solve and utilize creative solutions.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle conflict with conviction and love.
  • Strong propensity for database and reporting functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Word.
  • Strong social media skills.
  • Previous administrative experience preferred.
