Safe Environment:
Manage and implement the Diocesan Safe Environment program in the parish
Train volunteers in safe environment procedures
Perform the necessary background checks, interviews for employees and volunteers
Coordinate the annual training for all the kids in the parish faith formation program and youth ministry
Serve as point person for annual parish safe environment audits
Schedule and perform safe environment trainings and activities
Assistant to Director of Operations
Receive all office payments and maintain a daily cash log
Create weekly deposits
Assists with contracts for Church events such as XV, weddings, funerals etc.
Manage the scheduling of parish and school facilities
Keep contracts and set up meetings with ministries
Maintains parish membership records
Input contributions into PDS
Update parish website and Facebook page
Assists with phone, messages and other tasks as the Pastor may delegate.
Keep track of flowers for the altar – ensuring donation is received prior to sponsored date
Order Church items – candles, host, wine, etc.
Track and schedule food sales on weekends – including setting up petty cash
Set up FOCCUS for couples to complete questionnaires
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Pastor

Job Requirements

Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to work
effectively with staff and volunteers.
Strong organizational and record keeping skills.
Appropriate technology knowledge and skills as dictated by the position.
Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Parish Database
systems, Canva, Facebook
