Full Job Description

The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant performs various administrative functions including greeting guests and visitors, answering phone calls, processing parish correspondence and parishioner information. The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant is the first point of contact in the parish office for all visitors, guests, and volunteers.

Duties include:
Answering office phone calls and forwarding to the correct staff as needed.
Respond to and/or direct any correspondence received through the parish website.
Review daily mail and direct to the correct staff member
Receive and post Mass and Candle intentions and handle funds as directed by the Parish Business Manager
Generate New Parishioner Welcome Letters and Packets - update the Parishioner Data Base as needed.
Prepare reports as required by the Pastoral Administrative Assistant, Director of Operations and Business Manager

Job Requirements

PC Skills, Microsoft 365; Google Forms; Outlook a plus
Familiarity with Mailing programs and equipment
Ability to generate reports for Data Base and Cloud based programs
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
High School Diploma
Office Experience in a professional or parish office environment
Have a servant's heart and willingness to serve others.
