Full Job Description
As needed for the 22-23 school year which is in session September 2022 - May 2023.
School meets on Tuesday and Thursdays from 8:30am - 2:30pm.
- Aid the lead and assistant teachers in classrooms for preschoolers between the ages of 1 and 5 years old.
- Maintain a positive, nurturing, and loving environment.
- Appropriately manage behavior and safety with children, recommending or initiating measures to improve or modify as needed.
- Perform housekeeping duties in classroom, such as cleaning and sanitizing toys, tables, chairs, and other surfaces.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
As a religious organization, all employees must affirm and adhere to the Church’s Doctrinal Statement of Faith and Statement on Marriage and Human Sexuality based upon its sincerely held religious beliefs, to qualify for involvement with the ministry. This is necessary to accomplish the Church’s religious mission, goals, and purpose.
- Exhibit a growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and as Lord and agree with the doctrinal statement of Northwest Bible Church.
- Have a joyful passion for children and genuine interest in educating them.
- Ability to be flexible.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds without assistance and to perform physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, standing, lifting, carrying and moving quickly.
