The Facility Department’s Safety Team seeks to advance that vision by maintaining a secure and safe Campus environment with comprehensive all-risk safety planning; emergency response guides; AED availability and First Aid responsiveness; timely weather/safety/security communications with staff, volunteers, contractors, partners, and stakeholders; trained ministry-oriented professional security staff; and staff/volunteer training all of which facilitates worship, service, fellowship, missions and the HP Pres associated schools.

- Program leaders are expertly advised regarding physical security planning/implementation
- Meeting participants are consistently offering favorable feedback on security presence
- Consistent positive feedback from staff, congregation, and peers on delivery of services
- Reliable and responsive security presence on-site during business, programming hours and events
- A safety team that expertly balances a warm welcome to those on our campus while maintaining a keen eye on all potential safety and security risks
Key Responsibilities
- Campus security coverage during scheduled services, programming, events and open hours
- Maintaining appropriate training levels and licensing
- Developing and maintaining healthy working relationships with ministries and programs
- Creating a safe, accommodating, and friendly Campus environment
- Monitors all upcoming Campus activities/events and schedule changes through the Hub; adjusting security plans in coordination with the Campus Security Manager
- Communicative, keeping Facilities and Safety Team leadership informed as needed
- Thorough knowledge of Emergency Response Guide procedures
Education, Experience, Skill, Ability Requirements
- Education: High School graduate; BA/BS preferred
- Experience: Two-five years hospitality; security; police; military; intel; or insurance
- Knowledge and Skills: computer fluent; two-way radio; current Texas DPS PSB Level IV-PPO license or qualified to obtain Level IV-PPO license; personable with friendly aspect
- Abilities: Standing two hours; walking one hour repeatedly; lifting 50 lbs; bending; stooping; physically active; excellent vision; fluent English spoken & written
