Job Summary
As a key member of the marketing team, the Social Media Manager will use social media, video and other communication vehicles to achieve key goals.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains staff and volunteers in the department.
Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
Attend Core and Dream team meetings
Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepares effective social media campaigns .
Maintains knowledge on Social Media platforms and services.
Manages Social Media platforms
Capture photos, videos and media of events
Collaborates with senior executives to develop growth plans for the organization.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Hands-on experience with planning, managing, executing and tracking digital initiatives
Experience in executing social media programs that include owned, earned and paid digital and social media content
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Proficient in Canva
Proficient with Google Suite or related software.
Adobe Suite including Premiere
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
At least five years of experience in social media management is required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
