Full Job Description
Scope: To coordinate and support the activities of the Sports & Fitness ministry in the effort to reach people in and outside of the church with the gospel of Jesus through the platforms of sports, fitness, and recreation.

Employee Type: Part-time, 20 Hours

Responsibilities:
Partner with the Sports & Fitness Minister to create an environment and develop programs that will support the mission of the ministry.
Coordinate activities (such as yoga, boot camp, and/or circuit training) for the Sports & Fitness ministry.
Manage all administrative and organizational needs of the Sports & Fitness ministry.
Coordinate ministry schedules and volunteer engagement (including outside trainers/instructors).
Oversee and facilitate registration and check-in procedures.
Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with the facilities and events teams to ensure efficient and appropriate operations.
Oversee webpage and email communication to the general public, registrants, and volunteers regarding hours of operation (and related changes), and the schedule of events.
Create and implement ongoing promotions and/or marketing.
Maintain equipment by working with a third-party repair company and making decisions on new and old equipment.
Establish and enforce rules and protocol in adherence to safety, emergency, and professional standards.
Equip and support leadership (both staff and volunteers) through appropriate training and education.
Complete other tasks as requested or assigned by the Sports & Fitness Minister.
Qualifications
Requirements:
As a religious organization, all employees must affirm and adhere to the Church’s Doctrinal Statement of Faith and Statement on Marriage and Human Sexuality based upon its sincerely held religious beliefs, to qualify for involvement with the ministry. This is necessary to accomplish the Church’s religious mission, goals, and purpose.
Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and as Lord.
Active attendance and participation at Northwest Bible Church.
Distinguished experience in platform fields such as yoga instruction, sports coaching, physical training, and/or recreation involvement.
Proven history of excellent managerial experience, event planning, and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Relationally minded and gifted to connect with and encourage people.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
