In accordance with the mission of the Seminary and the MIM Department, this individual will seek to prepare godly servant leaders for a lifetime of study, exposition, and application of the Scriptures. MIM Department faculty members support the educational process by not only teaching but also by actively living as missionaries on and around the DTS campus and in the local community, advising students, serving on committees, addressing projects as assigned, and by assisting at strategic events.

The candidate must have a completed terminal degree (either a PhD, ThD, DMiss, or DIS, not a DMin) in missiology, intercultural studies, anthropology, or equivalents.

to develop an abiding relationship with Jesus in the context of a vulnerable, safe community as a basis for evangelism and mission,
to demonstrate a commitment and expertise in proclaiming the good news of Jesus to any person in any context,
to live a life of fruitful and multiplying missiological engagement,
to make a consistent and encouraging contribution to global missiological dialogue.
