Responsibilities

  • Develop, design, and implement ministry processes and programs for women that are aligned with the church's mission and values.
  • Oversee all aspects of Women's Ministry including planning, developing, and implementing strategies that facilitate spiritual growth and equip women for service and discipleship, including calendar and budget.
  • Recruit and lead the Women's Ministry Leadership Board resulting in real and effective ministry, serving as liaison between the Board and Group Life.
  • Oversee all Women's small groups, whether on campus or off campus.
  • Serve as a coach to Young Adult female small group leaders.
  • Recruit and develop leaders to accomplish all aspects of Women's Ministry
  • Be an approachable, authentic, and humble woman, building relationships with women across all ministries.
  • Engage in equipping, empowering, and deploying women of all generations to live out their full God-given potential, connecting their gifts and passion to service inside and outside the church.
  • Be a key member of Group Life, helping fulfill the strategy of groups for the church and participate in Group Life goals and ministry as a whole.
  • Perform all the functions and duties of a minister as described in Northwest Bible Church Minister Expectations (separate document).
  • Serve as an available guide to direct women with counseling needs to the appropriate resources.
  • Support broader church initiatives through input and influence, as requested. Participate in staff and key leader meetings.
  • Serve as minister on call on a rotating schedule as determined by the Care Minister.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Requirements

As a religious organization, all employees must affirm and adhere to the Church’s Doctrinal Statement of Faith and Statement on Marriage and Human Sexuality based upon its sincerely held religious beliefs, to qualify for involvement with the ministry. This is necessary to accomplish the Church’s religious mission, goals, and purpose.

  • Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and as Lord
  • Active membership and participation at Northwest Bible Church
  • Surrendered to calling of ministry.
  • Ability to develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
  • Strong leader who can cast vision and call others to a life of pursuing Jesus.
  • Student of both culture and the Word.
  • Thorough understanding of theology and scripture which influences the implementation of basic principles, values, ethics, philosophy, customs, and practices of Bible churches.
  • Effective communication skills, organized, and relational
  • Ability to recruit and manage teams effectively.
  • Enjoy coaching, empowering, and releasing the giftedness of others.
  • Committed to personal integrity and spiritual disciplines.

Preferences

  • Master’s degree in related field, Seminary preferred.
  • 5 years experience in an actively thriving ministry or similar profession.
