Part Time (Employee will be required to work other than normal business hours, to include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.)
DUTIES
Summary: To provide musical accompaniment (i.e., bass guitar) for all performing units that comprise the church choral music program.
Responsibilities
- Provide musical accompaniment (i.e., bass guitar) for all performing units that comprise the church choral music program as well as all worship services and Tabitha programs/events
- Assist the Minister of Music with providing inspiring and motivational music during all worship services and programs/events
- Provide musical accompaniment for weekly rehearsals
- Assist with rehearsing or otherwise assuring preparedness of all music ministry elements
- Practice discipleship through an inspiring and engaging music ministry
- Assist with arranging for and preparing music components for special worship programs for Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, Black History Month, etc.
- As needed, assisting with, arranging for, and preparing music components for weddings and funerals of members and non-members
- Maintain effective communications with the Pastor, Minister of Music, Music Ministry Committee, leaders of the church, and music ministry team members
- Other duties as required or assigned
