SUMMARY
Works under the direction of the Women’s Emergency Shelter Director of Strategic Initiatives program and staff to ensure goals and outcomes are met and are consistent with the goals, mission and values of the Agency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Applies appropriate trauma-informed techniques and standards in program development and service delivery.
  • Works collaboratively with Women’s Emergency Shelter Director of Strategic Initiatives around strategic program vision, goal development, community relationships
  • Development of Policies and Procedures with Women’s Emergency Shelter Director of Strategic Initiatives and Operation Leadership
  • Works with Women’s Emergency Shelter Director of Strategic Initiatives for coordination of Staff Development/Competencies
  • Works with Women’s Emergency Shelter Director of Strategic Initiatives for coordination with Budgets/Grants.
  • Work collaboratively with the Women’s Emergency Shelter Director of Strategic Initiatives to compile accurate and timely program statistical data to meet reporting requirements, goals, and outcomes. Creates, monitors performance measurements, and recommends program improvements
  • Maintains professional ties with other service organizations/boards/committees for the benefit of the program.
  • Ensures that programs and services are in compliance with licensing, accreditation, state and federal standards and other appropriate regulatory or professional requirements.
  • Completes necessary administrative duties (paperwork, etc.) timely and accurately.
  • On-call for consultation and intervention after hours and on weekends.
  • Assists with grants in collaboration with the Women’s Emergency Shelter Director of Strategic Initiatives and Director of Grants.
  • Promotes and adheres to Catholic Charities’ vision, mission, values and Code of Ethics.
  • Models Catholic Charities’ commitment to treating all persons with respect and dignity.
  • Uses creativity and innovation in program development and service delivery.
  • Maintains confidentiality of client and agency information.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Unique experience in managing low-barrier shelters (at least 3 years) and overseeing case management programs (at least 3 years)
  • Minimum three years supervising staff in a low-barrier shelter environment.
  • Knowledgeable about the operations of a low-barrier, trauma-informed drop-in emergency shelter, and how these responsibilities are specifically distinguishable from a residential or transitional housing program
  • Demonstrated experience in supervision and program management

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from accredited four-year college or university in related field; and three to five years related shelter operations experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Master’s Degree and Clinical Licensure preferred.
Fluency in Spanish preferred.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Salary: Starting at $62,000-$67,000 DOE salary/year with increases commensurate with education and experience.
Schedule: Dependent on location, ability to work a flexible schedule.
