Full Job Description
Audio Engineer
SKILLS NEEDED:
- Sound mixing knowledge and experience
- General understanding of sending sound to live stream
- Work well with Sunday tech volunteers
- Attention to detail and good verbal and email communication
- Willing to receive feedback and continue to grow
TASKS:
- Run live sound for services and recording
- Live stream mix from same live sound board
- Stage tear-down and set-up for events as needed
- Keep area of responsibility organized and labeled
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE:
- Ableton, ProPresenter 7, Recording Skill
DAYS TO WORK:
- Sundays - Two services 8am & 9:45am (7:00am - 11:30am)
- One mid-week rehearsal on Thursday evenings 5:00pm - 8:00pm
- Additional scheduled events and corresponding rehearsals outside of Sundays to be paid extra will include: Advent by Candlelight,Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, School Graduation
PAY:
- 8hrs/week @ $25hr = approximately $200 Weekly (an evaluation after three months will be given for an hourly pay increase)
- 52Weeks a year is $10,400
ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
TRAINING:
St. John’s will provide training in areas of deficiency and any new technology acquired
EXTRA EVENTS:
Occasions arise for our Audio Engineer to be hired for Weddings, Memorial Services, Eagle Scout Ceremonies, School Programs and misc. other events. These will be paid over and above expected days listed above, and most smaller events (1-3 hours) pay a flat $150.00.
