Description:
We are looking for a Children’s Pastor/Director to join the team. The Children’s Pastor will lead the Kidventure Team in coordinating all kid’s programming for ministries serving ages K thru 5th grades. We are looking for a collaborative team player who has a missional heart, a passion for partnering with parents, and the ability to recruit and empower volunteers who desire to see kids transformed by the HOPE of Jesus.
What you’ll be doing:
– Leading Kidventure ministries, including weekly oversight of Sunday services and Kidventure volunteer staff.
– Collaborating with the Kidventure Team to recruit and schedule Kidventure classroom leaders.
– Building relationships with kids and their families and personally interacting with them on an ongoing discipleship basis.
– Collaborating with the Kidventure Team to ensure Bible lessons and curriculum for weekly programming, special events, and camps fulfill the vision of Denver First Church.

– Vision for developing a Kid’s ministry with a missional heart.
– Passion, gifts, and graces for working with kids in grades K-5th grade and their adult Volunteer Guides.
– Teaching and public speaking skills that engage children and systematically encourage their spiritual development.
– Excellent organization and the ability to multitask.
– Reliability and integrity.
– The ability to identify & train new volunteers, encourage the Kidventure Team, and collaborate with our church staff.
