Providence Network (PN) is a 501(c)3, Christian faith-based, transformational housing organization helping individuals and families in Denver heal from addictions, abuse, and homelessness to become self-sufficient, thriving members of the community. Our holistic programs address complex physical, emotional, spiritual, and economic needs through a unique community model that combines professional services in a home-like environment with 24/7 live-in staff support.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Donor Relations Specialist contributes directly to the fundraising and resource development activities of the organization under the leadership of the Development Director. The primary purpose of this role is to assist the director in reaching PN’s fundraising goals by providing outstanding project and communication leadership that fosters meaningful donor/volunteer engagement. The ideal candidate will be an astute and creative thinker with high personal standards of integrity and follow-through.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of successful fundraising (or similar) experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior interpersonal skills and adept at building genuine relationships
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
  • Experience with donor relationship management (CRM) systems and best practices

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contributes to the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and retention of donors using an integrated, team approach
  • Manages day-to-day efforts of the in-kind donation and volunteer programs
  • Ensures a consistent, dynamic presence across social media platforms
  • Supports the creation of high-impact fundraising and communication materials
  • Acts as first line of communication for donor, volunteer, and general inquiries
  • Participates in public speaking and other community engagement activities
  • May provide support in the planning and execution of special events

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
